  4. This Windows utility scans the SCSI bus and displays an iconic view of each
  5. device you have connected to your Adaptec SCSI host adapter (It may work
  6. with other SCSI host adapters that conform to Adaptec's ASPI standard).
  7. You will need to have the appropriate ASPI manager loaded in your CONFIG.SYS
  8. for this utility to work properly (ie. ASPI4DOS.SYS for the AHA-1540/1542/ 
  9. 1640, ASPIEDOS.SYS for the AHA-1740/1742/1744, and ASPI2DOS.SYS for the
  10. AHA-1520/1522/1510/AIC-6260).  Useful information such as device revision,
  11. support capabilities, whether the device is SCSI-1 or SCSI-2, etc. are also
  12. displayed.  Supports color VGA monitors and above.  Minimal support for
  13. lesser monitors.

  15. Due to a compiler bug, the previous revision of SHOWSCSI.EXE would sometimes
  16. report back an incorrect drive capacity.  This has been fixed.

  21. This Windows utility shows you how to properly set the jumpers for an Adaptec
  22. AHA-1520 or AHA-1522 SCSI Host Adapter.  When a selection is changed, the
  23. jumper configuration will be modified so that the card image on the screen
  24. can be used as a map to configure your host adapter.  Only PIO mode
  25. configurations are shown.  Supports color VGA monitors and above.  Minimal
  26. support for lesser monitors.
